Dr. Stoddard joined the Physical Therapy Faculty in 2020. She has worked as a licensed physical therapist in various pediatric settings including home health, outpatient, and acute care and orthopedic hospitals. Her clinical areas of expertise are pediatric brain injury and disorders of consciousness, trauma, orthopedics, and neurodevelopment. She continues to practice in a pediatric orthopedic setting. Her previous teaching experience includes teaching handling and manual therapy skills for musculoskeletal physical therapy and pediatric physical therapy courses and assistant teaching for Anatomy.

Scholarship/Research:
Dr. Stoddard has peer reviewed publications and presentations at state and national conferences on the topics of muscular fatigue, pediatric disorders of consciousness and recovery from brain injury, and pediatric balance measures. Her current research focus is on balance measures for pediatric and adolescent performing artists and strength assessments in pediatric spina bifida.
